Eve believes that every great day starts the night before—with a great night’s sleep. They tried to achieve this by creating a mattress that is both beautiful and simple. They have striven for fair prices that are available to everyone.
Between all of the management team members, there are 12 years of experience in developing and selling mattresses. After getting feedback from 70,000 mattress owners, the team was able to develop what they claim is the “most comfortable mattress ever made.” Learning from mattress owners is what drove the creation of this mattress.
The team of more than 80 specialists aims to make “the world’s most boring industry” creative and full of life. They want to deliver the best possible mattress for the least possible hassle and lowest price.
Eve offers one mattress, their highly developed foam mattress. This mattress is said to be the most comfortable mattress at the lowest price. Offering an adaptable fabric cover, the mattress is structured mainly from memory foam and includes a cooling layer, a supportive base layer, and an anti-slip base. While Eve was created by leading London product designers, it is manufactured in the US.
The company also offers a pillow and a mattress protector. The pillow is made from premium memory foam and provides support that feather and fiber pillows cannot. Its outside cover is made of durable, soft, and stretchy jersey fabric to provide comfort. The pillow is designed to stay cool and breathable. It also benefits the sleeper by assisting with circulation and muscle alignment.
The mattress protector is thin and designed to be breathable, while also being waterproof. It’s made of 100% organic cotton and a Neotherm membrane. It is available in various sizes and is made to fit all mattress types—Eve or otherwise—with its fitted sheet design. The site claims you can even use the protector as a bottom sheet; it’s that comfy.
Eve’s website boasts their Customer Support as being top-rated. While the company is based in the UK, they also have a US location that manufactures the mattresses and delivers them. The customer service team is based in the US and will answer any questions and work their hardest to give customers a pleasant buying experience. They can be reached by phone or on their online chat. They also have an email they can be reached at. Their customer service reps operate from 9 am to 6 pm (PT) from Monday to Friday.
In addition to the resources available above, the website also has a very thorough and helpful FAQ page. The answers on this page provide great and very friendly answers to questions that are frequently received from customers. The tone tends to be informative but still very kind—it makes you feel more like you’re talking to a real person rather than a stiff robot. They even go as far to put little smiley faces after some of their answers!

The Eve Mattress is available in the following sizes:

- Twin XL (39” x 80”)
- Full (54” x 75”)
- Queen (60” x 80”)
- King (76” x 80”)
- California King (72” x 84”)
What’s it Made out Of?
The Eve Mattress is constructed of 5 layers of materials that have been developed over 70,000 trials. The top layer is made of a high point elasticity polyester/dorlastan blend cover. This cover is designed to be temperature regulating to keep the sleeper cool and work directly with the other cooling technology offered in the next layers. It is naturally anti-allergenic, and flame retardant and is washable.
Below the cover, you’ll find a 2” layer of memory foam that is built to relieve pressure and maintain breathability through its open-cell structure. This memory foam is highly elastic and responsive and is also temperature regulating.
The next layer is the active response cooling layer, which is made from 1” of responsive memory foam. This memory foam provides extra support through it conforming comfort and responsiveness. It has been proven to wick away moisture and dissipate heat and claims to be 30 times more breathable than regular memory foam.
Beneath all of this comes the high-density base layer, which is crafted from 6.5” of supportive foam. This layer is made to be extremely durable and is built to last. At the bottom, you’ll find a 100% polyester fabric layer made with anti-slip technology. This final layer is washable and will keep your mattress from moving around.
Is it Good For…?
Yes. The Eve website claims that their mattress is good for any sleeping position. Due to its comfort and support provided by its memory foam, the mattress is able to adjust to each individual sleeper. Side sleepers will especially enjoy the softness that the top layers provide, although they are still receiving the firm comfort their bodies need.
Yes. Stomach sleepers will love the contouring memory foam that they get when they sleep on the Eve Mattress. Because of its unique design, all sleepers can enjoy this mattress. They receive comfort and support, not sacrificing one for the other.
Yes. Eve prides itself on being able to provide comfort and support to not only be good for the body but comfortable for the sleeper. The top layer is soft enough that it feels nice to sleep on, but it doesn’t sacrifice comfort for proper support. The contouring memory foam is designed to adjust to the body’s positions while relieving pressure points, no matter what the position. This makes it excellent for those suffering back pain.
No. While the Eve Mattress has several layers that incorporate cooling technology, that is not its main focus. The top adaptable fabric cover is temperature regulating, while the two following layers of memory are proven to be breathable, wick away moisture, and dissipate heat. However, upon closer look at customer reviews, many say that the mattress can get a little warm throughout the night. These features aren’t enough to keep the mattress particularly cool and or greatly disperse heat, making it less enjoyable for those who get warm during the night. Those who suffer from sleep heat may want to look into a mattress that caters more towards those features, not one that uses them as an add-in.
No. The Eve Mattress company recommends only sleepers of up to 252 lbs use this mattress. This supportive mattress provides an added feeling of bounce, and for this reason, it is ideal to not exceed this weight limit. Even for couples, the recommended combined weight limit is 504 lbs. Any heavier and the mattress may not last as long or provide top-level comfort. For this reason, those who weigh more than 250 lbs, or a couple with a higher combined weight, may want to consider looking into a more sturdy and durable mattress.
Yes. Because of its great use of memory foam, the Eve mattress provides lots of comfort while still having bounce. Comfort is obviously good for sex, but it’s the bounce that can help with consistent rhythm as well. The mattress’s response time can be a little slow, which isn’t ideal for sex, but its durability and quietness (due to lack of springs and squeaking) make up for that. Since the company boasts its mattress’s guarantee of at least ten years, it should be durable enough to handle an active couple. The support of the bottom layers allows for this to happen. With steady support throughout the mattress, edge support is not a question—couples will benefit from firmness that extends to the edges of the mattress.
Where Can I Buy It?
The Eve Mattress can be purchased only online. First and foremost, a customer can purchase this mattress on Eve’s website.
Additionally, the Eve Mattress can be found and bought online on Amazon. Other websites that sell this mattress are Walmart.com and Jet.com.
Buyers should be warned that all sites have different warranties, trials, and return policies. Mattresses purchases from distributors other than Eve will not necessarily receive the same benefits as they would when buying directly from Eve.com.
How Much Does it Cost?
Eve Mattress claims to strive for the most convenient and comfortable mattress while keeping their prices low. The cost of the Eve Mattress varies by size. Here is a full list of mattress prices:
- Twin: $549
- Twin XL: $599
- Full: $799
- Queen: $899
- King: $1099
- California King: $1099
Is it Worth It?
Compared to other mattresses of its kind, the Eve Mattress keeps up regarding comfort and support. It seems to hold true to its promise of comfortability, and its guaranteed durability (up to a certain weight) doesn’t seem to be an issue. However, the Eve Mattress lacks in some areas. For one, it does not have a great focus in the area of cooling technology. This technology is definitely incorporated, and for some light-weight sleepers who tend to keep a lower body temperature, it can pass the test. For others, though, the mattress doesn’t quite do its job. There isn’t enough focus on temperature control or cooling, especially for those warmed body temperatures. This can be a huge difference for a big number of buyers.
Additionally, this mattress does not seem to be sturdy enough for customers of great weight. While it is sturdy and durable, the company itself says it does not recommend those over 250 lbs. purchase this mattress. It also makes recommendations based on the combined weight of couples.
However, buyers have to take notice of the much lower price that Eve offers, as well as their excellent design, service, and friendly professionalism. You get what you pay for, and since this mattress is cheaper than most luxury online mattresses and it comes with a ten-year warranty, it’s worth it.
Eve offers free shipping on their mattress orders. This shipping includes a door to door service through FedEx. At this time, the company does not offer any kind of expedited shipping. Additionally, the shippers are only allowed to bring the mattress to your doorstep, and not actually into your house or bedroom for you. Because this shipment does not require a signature, deliverers will leave the product at your doorstep if you are not home—like regular deliveries or mail.
Depending on your location, all orders will be delivered within five to seven business days. Eve tries to meet specific delivery requirements the best they can, and this can be done by email email@example.com and detailing these requirements.
Eve Mattresses will arrive in a box, packaged using special rolling and vacuum pack technology. This technology compresses the mattress to make it extra small, so it fits in a box. Doing this reduces the size of the box needed to ship, which decreases the cost to both the company and the buyer. It also lessens the negative impact on the environment. Moving a smaller, compressed mattress in a box is also a lot easier than trying to move a full-sized mattress.
Why Not to Buy an Eve Mattress
To reiterate reasons above, there are a few reasons why a customer may want to go another route in terms of mattress shopping. The Eve Mattress is highly comfortable and supportive, but it lacks in the area of cooling. While a lot of luxury mattresses put an emphasis on cooling technology and dissipating heat, the Eve Mattress doesn’t seem to have that as high on their priority list.
While it does incorporate cooling technologies, reviewers too often comment that they wake up feeling warm or claim they have to sleep with their air conditioner on. This can highly impact the level of comfort in a mattress, even if the mattress itself is comfortable. Those who get warm throughout the night will want to look elsewhere for their new mattress,
Additionally, the Eve Mattress is not made for heavy-weight people. Anyone over 250 lbs is recommended to find a more supportive, sturdy, and durable mattress. The Eve Mattress is durable in its own right, but only up to a certain weight.
Finally, customers have reported that the transfer of movement on this mattress is a little greater than they’d like. Couples have found that motion transfers to their partners when they move around or get out of bed. Light sleepers who share a mattress with their partner won’t be a fan of this.
There are several mattress brands from all over the world that function using foam and support bases. These mattresses all give their own twists and have their own specialties. If you were considering an Eve Mattress, you might also want to check into one of these mattresses.
The Bruno Mattress comes from Germany and is made of just two layers: a latex topper and a foam support base. Its quilted cover adds luxury and comfort, and since there is not memory foam, there is less of a chance of getting too hot in bed. Perforated latex is much more breathable and is more suited towards warm sleepers.
The Leesa Mattress is another luxury foam mattress that offers excellent cooling technology. Made from layers of various foam and memory foam, the Leesa does a great job of incorporating very unique cooling technologies and support that work very well to keep the sleeper cool.
The Hyde & Sleep Mattress offers not just a foam mattress, but also a sprung mattress. The foam mattress is designed with a seven-zone foam base that also uses latex and memory foam. This design ensures the best comfort for a low price and is a good alternative choice for a foam mattress.
The Eve Mattress does a great job of combining high comfort and support for less than a lot of online luxury mattresses. Its support is good for all types of sleepers. It rates itself as medium in firmness but claims that the level of comfort provided in the top layers allow it to adjust to each sleeper’s need. One of the best things about this mattress is definitely the price. As far as luxury mattresses go, the price is very reasonable.
As comfortable and supportive as it is, the Eve Mattress does have features that are lacking. The mattress is not designed for heavy-weight people. The fact that the website itself recommends that only buyers up to 250 lbs. purchase this mattress is enough to say that. For that reason, heavy-weight people are automatically cut from their list of buyers.
Additionally, the cooling technology seems to be a decent sized issue. The comfort of any mattress can be ruined when a customer wakes up sweaty and hot. After reading reviews, it’s easy to see that this mattress, while it does incorporate cooling technology, doesn’t focus on it enough. For that reason, hot sleepers or those is a warmer climate may want to steer clear of the Eve Mattress.
Lastly, the mattress doesn’t stack up too well against its competitors in motion transfer. Reviewers have commented that motion transfers to partners in bed when one shifts or gets up.
While you can’t beat the price and comfort level here, other areas are lacking. For these reasons, we give the Eve Mattress a B.
